Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group Inc., will pay a $15,000 signing bonus to all new hire pilots, effective immediately. Pilots who come to Piedmont will be offered industry-leading benefits and the opportunity to upgrade as soon they reach 1000 hours of 121 time and 2500 hours of total time. Piedmont also offers pilots a guaranteed job at American Airlines. Piedmont plans to hire over 200 pilots in 2016.
Piedmont believes that great employees attract other great employees which is why they are offering a $5,000 referral
bonus for every pilot referral. Employees can collect $5,000 once their referred pilot is hired, passes training and stays with the company for six months.
