Missing Crew Member, Crystal Seratte McDowell

Last Friday a friend, fellow co-worker and crewmember went missing. She was last seen in Baytown, Texas on the morning of August 25th 2017. Her Mercedes was found a few days later buried in water due to Hurricane Harvey at a Motel 6 parking lot off of interstate 10 and 146.

Crystal vanished before the impending category 4 Hurricane Harvey hit the Baytown area. Crystal is a real estate agent, a flight attendant, instructor and a mother of two. Search efforts have been difficult with the massive flooding accompanied with the hurricane.

Right now there is a $15,000 reward for any information leading directly to the safe return of Crystal Seratte McDowel. If you have any information about Crystal please contact Detective Walters at the Chambers County Sherriff’s Office at 409-656-3729 or call 911.

Hurricane Harvey has caused wide spread devastation and flooding across Texas and Louisiana. While we keep everyone in Harvey’s path in our hearts, as crew members we have a special place in our hearts for fellow crew members.

Crystal was also a contributor to The Flight Attendant Grid in Aero Crew News. Her family, friends and co-workers will not rest until she is found. Please help us share her story so we can find someone that knows something.

  1. I’ll never understand why people can’t walk away from a failed relationship. “Cause I can’t make you love me if you don’t, You can’t make your heart feel something it won’t” – Bonnie Raitt
She divorced her ex in June. On his FB, he shows that they are still married. His family didn’t even know they were divorced. Praying for a safe return, but if not, praying for a conviction. Bless those poor innocent children.
