I hope this email finds you safe and well, untouched by the pandemic our world is facing. In these challenging times., we have been working hard to provide you with up-to-date news affecting the aviation industry and our world.
Let me take your mind off it for a few minutes, if I may. Aero Crew News started as a newsletter called The Regional Grid in October 2014. The main body of information in this newsletter was a grid that compared all regional airline pilots’ pay, work rules and expenses. In January 2015, The Regional Grid partnered with Aero Crew Solutions and together we formed Aero Crew News and launched our first eMagazine on March 1, 2015. It was then that The Mainline Grid was added to accompany The Reginal Grid. A year later, we added The Flight Attendant Grid to our eMagazine. Later that same year in October 2016, we posted to our website all the articles found in the PDF version of Aero Crew News.
Since then, we have continually updated The Grids as we gather data from our readers. For a year or so, I have been planning to upgrade The Grids and find a way to enable our readers to access and compare this data with greater ease. Today, I am proud to announce that we have developed a solution and we have moved The Grids from the PDF to our website. I have also made a short video tour of the exciting features our site offers. You will find interactive tools that allow you to extract and compare the data that is most relevant to you. Not only is the information from The Grids online, the way you can manipulate it is invaluable.
